About Me
I am a freelance equine nutritionist with a passion for helping horses and riders achieve their best through evidence-based nutrition. Having competed in showjumping, dressage, eventing, arena eventing, and mounted games, I understand first hand the demands placed on equine athletes and the vital role nutrition plays in their health and performance.
Beyond competing I have cared for a wide range of horses and understand the struggle of getting a horse's diet right and I am here to make that process easier. From managing young working horses, fit and excitable performance horses, lazy and good doer competition ponies, the dentally challenged older equine, the fussy eaters, the ones who live off fresh air and everything in between.
My passion for horses led me to study Equestrian Sports Science at Hartpury University, where I developed a deep understanding of equine nutrition and saw the real impact of both proper and poor feeding practices. I later completed a master’s degree in Nutrition, equipping me with valuable knowledge and also supported my journey to becoming accredited with the Associated for Nutrition (AfN). I now combine my passion for horses with my love for science and nutrition to share unbaised nutritional advice because I understand the world of equine nutrition can be overwhelming, with endless products, conflicting advice, and marketing claims that often mislead owners. Above all, I love seeing horses thrive, and I am dedicated to helping owners make informed choices for their equine partners.
